Terms of service.
Short, because the rules are the product. These terms apply to every ticket bought, voted with or traded on blossomfest.org, and to anyone using the site or the app. Last updated October 13, 2026.

Tickets
- A ticket admits one person for the whole festival on the dates published on this site. The main-stage lineup is decided by ticket-holder votes as described on the how it works page.
- Sprout tickets cost the published Sprout price. Later releases cost the published release price. Market purchases cost what the seller asks plus the buyer fee. The ledger does not accept listings below the Sprout price. A ticket is admission to an event, not an investment; nothing here promises a resale or a resale price.
- Four tickets per person. A ticket is an entry in the Blossom ledger held by your account’s signing key; whoever controls the account controls the ticket. Keep your password and backup words private; we cannot restore an account without them.
- No change-of-mind refunds. If the festival is cancelled by the organiser, sales and trades stop and each holder is refunded the Sprout or release price last paid to the festival for that ticket, by the method it was paid. Market proceeds already paid between fans are not clawed back.
Votes
- One ticket, one vote per day. Each round runs Monday to Friday: every night at midnight Eastern the option with the fewest votes is eliminated (ties broken by the previous day’s count, then by listing order), and the remaining option on Friday night is the winner, announced Saturday. A vote carries over from day to day unless the holder changes it. A vote travels with the ticket: if a ticket is sold while a round is open, the previous holder’s vote for that ticket is void and the new holder may vote.
- Only options that have confirmed availability and price appear on a ballot. The organiser books the winner. If a winner becomes unavailable, the organiser books the next-ranked option and says so on the ledger.
- Round results are final once written to the ledger.
Market
- Tickets may only be sold through this site. Tickets sold elsewhere may be voided.
- The market opens in selling rounds: each opens when a voting round’s result is announced and closes after the published window (currently two days); once the final round is decided the market stays open until the event. Listings placed between rounds go live at the next opening. The organiser may open or close the market at other times.
- Sellers pay the published seller fee; buyers pay the published buyer fee. Fees are shown before you confirm and are not refundable.
- Seller proceeds are credited to the seller’s balance when the ticket sells and paid out by PayPal, Venmo or Zelle, normally within two business days.
- The organiser may set a price range for listings, including a resale cap where local law requires one.
Ledger and privacy
- Issuance, votes, listings, trades, payouts and gate scans are published on the ledger keyed to account identifiers, never names, and the ledger's fingerprint is published to the Base blockchain. Your email and name are never published. There are no network fees for fans.
- We email you about your tickets, open ballots and results. Nothing else without asking.
Money
- Prices are in US dollars. The published platform share of first sales and the published market fees are the only amounts kept by the festival from ticket money; everything else goes to putting on the show, except the green fund below.
- Green fund. Five percent of the gross proceeds of every ticket sold by the festival is set aside for environmental work, as described on the sustainability page, and is paid whether or not the event makes a profit.
- Profit share (the Bloom Split). After costs and the green fund, published percentages of the festival’s profit go to an artist pool and a crew pool. The artist pool is divided among main-stage acts in proportion to the votes recorded for them in their final count, with a published fixed slice shared equally by side-stage acts; the crew pool is divided by published role shares; a published bonus percentage opens if all Sprout tickets sell. Projections shown on the site are estimates; final amounts are settled after the event and written to the ledger. Each act’s fee is separate and set in its own agreement. Nothing here gives ticket holders a share.
- Price steps. The festival's ticket price rises by a published step (currently $50) each time a voting round is announced, and the market floor rises to match. The price never decreases. Holders are never required to sell.
- Sales tax, where it applies, is included in the ticket price. Crypto payments are converted at the amount received.
Accounts and the app
- You must be 18 or older to open an account or buy a ticket. One account per person; four tickets per person.
- The app holds a signing key that is yours. Keep your password and backup words private. We cannot recover an account whose password and backup words are both lost, and a ticket in such an account cannot be reissued.
- Do not scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with the site, the app or the ledger. Report security problems to us instead.
Conduct, safety and entry
- The code of conduct is part of these terms. Breaking it can void your ticket without refund.
- Entry is subject to the venue's rules, searches and age policy, published before the gates open. A ticket admits one person once; a scanned ticket cannot be sold or re-entered unless the venue allows re-entry.
- Attending an outdoor event carries ordinary risks (weather, terrain, crowds, loud music). You attend at your own risk to the extent the law allows, and you agree to follow crew instructions.
- By attending you consent to being filmed or photographed as part of the crowd for the festival's own use.
Liability
- We provide the site, the app and the ledger as they are. We do our best to keep them running, but we do not promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for anything arising from these terms or the event is limited to the amount you paid the festival for your tickets. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
- Tickets, votes and the market are not investments, securities or financial products, and we make no promise about the price any ticket will fetch.
Intellectual property
Blossom, the site, the app, the ledger design and all words, images and code here belong to the organiser or its licensors. Artists keep their own music and images; by signing up for a ballot they give us permission to show their name, logo, bio and pitch on the site and in the app.
Changes, law and disputes
- We may update these terms; material changes are emailed to account holders and the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the site or hold a ticket after that means you accept them.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts there, unless the law where you live gives you a right to something else.
- If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
